WHEN I WAS JOUNG
Quando ero giovane, molto più giovane, non passavo il mio tempo libero a giocare a pallone come facevano gran parte dei miei coetanei. Passavo il mio tempo a disegnare.
Disegnavo di tutto quasi sempre a penna o matita, su fogli bianchi o fogli di quaderno.
Per lo più copiavo dai vari fumetti di supereroi, Marvel o DC Comics, o album monografici, che collezionavo e leggevo continuamente.
Anche il copiare ha il suo "perché"... si impara molto ridisegnando ciò che i professionisti hanno già messo "nero su bianco".

I miei disegni erano realizzati direttamente a inchiostro, senza preparazione a matita o altro, quindi era un copiare senza possibilità di sbagliare e se il risultato non mi piaceva, ridisegnavo daccapo.
Riconoscerete certamente tanti personaggi e forse anche qualche Autore il cui stile si ritrova anche nella copia.
When I was young, much younger, I didn't spend my free time playing football like most of my peers did. I spent my time drawing.
I almost always drew everything in pen or pencil, on white sheets or notebook sheets.

My drawings were made directly in ink, without pencil preparation or anything else, so it was a copy with no possibility of making a mistake and if I didn't like the result, I'd redraw from scratch.
You will certainly recognize many characters and perhaps even some Authors whose style is also found in the copy.

Poi arriva il tempo della scoperta e la passione per quel che va a motore
Tanto tempo è passato da questi disegni, poi è arrivato il computer e altro ancora a livello professionale, ma riguardando questi disegna da adolescente, con tutti i loro limiti, mi domando se non averi dovuto coltivare di più questo applicarmi al disegno "a mano libera", farne forse la mia professione.
